The name DIONZ is a fusion of two words:

Ions: an ion is a particle, atom or molecule which can be positively or negatively charged. Ions are responsible for such phenomena as the luminescence of the sun.

Dandelions: a dandelion is a wild plant that has been labelled both as a weed & as a golden flower, yet it has existed as it is - a plant - for centuries. Dandelions symbolise growth, hope, prosperity, healing, resilience, the sun, wealth, wishes coming true, and happiness.

DIONZ’s mission is to empower its Members to tap into their uniqueness and positively impact the world. At DIONZ, this translates into creating an ecosystem that cultivates meaningful connections and continuously provides member-centred learning experiences in a fun, secure and innovative way.

The future of our planet and humanity will be defined by the individuals who lead a life of impact, authenticity, consciousness, humility, joy, kindness, integrity, accountability, respect, curiosity, and perseverance (our core DIONZ values) and the pioneering organisations which are the most successful at creating innovative and resilient ventures that bring prosperity to their communities and the world. To be relevant in the (very quickly approaching) future, it is essential to acquire a new mind-, heart- and skillset, very different from what we have been systematically taught.

DIONZ is created as a unique educational venture mirroring life. In life, there is no final exam or “failure”; there are daily challenges to master which require an ongoing investment in our constant growth.
